The water is a blue green turquoise color and the waves are frothing around the jagged rocks. The ocean is churning and a crashing wave has splattered tiny droplets of water all over the right corner of the painting. It makes me thing of the Caribbean and the blue green of Turks and Caicos.

There is no frame included. It is only shown so you can see what it would look like framed. It has been done on acid free pastel paper. The painting is done with a 1/2 inch border along the inside of the 11x14 paper. The border is a bit messy since I used rubbing alcohol to set the initial layer of the painting but try not to touch the actual painting directly as it will smear. It has NOT been sprayed with a fixative. You will want to frame it behind glass and keep it out of direct sunlight to prevent fading.
This is an original work of art, and no two pastels will be exactly alike, although I may paint something similar in the future.
